BOURNEMOUTH Vegan Festival is promising a "huge vegan extravaganza" this autumn.

Taking place at the Citygate Centre in Holdenhurst Road on Saturday, September 3, there will be 60 stalls, world food caterers, cookery demos, inspirational talks, interactive workshops, free food samples, yoga and activities for children.

The indoor event will take place between 10.30am and 4pm.

Food companies like Vegan Sweet Tooth London and Mr Nice Pie will be showing off their vegan credentials, alongside Bournemouth-based, Earthling.

Amongst the stallholders from Bournemouth will be Daiba Organic selling mushroom, plant extracts, loose leaf tea blends, and natural skin food.

Vbaazar, another local company, will also be bringing a range of their cruelty-free fashion and home products.

Meanwhile, caterers including Greek Vegan Deli, Those Vegan Pizza Guys, Vegan Madga/Rebel Animal and VDogs will be there to provide snacks.

There will also be exhibits from charities Dorset Wildlife Trust and Miracle’s Mission, an animal welfare organisation that works with sick and injured animals worldwide.

Miracle’s Mission goal is to provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate the needs of pet and strays, and rehomes dogs, often disabled, from its UK rescue centre.

Entry to the festival is £4 for an adult ticket and £15 for VIP, children can go free.
