A DRIVER was stopped by police for having no rear lights, no insurance and no licence.
Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team also discovered cannabis on the stop in Boscombe.
A spokesperson said: “This car was seen by the team in Boscombe. It had no rear lights. We stopped it and the driver said ‘you’ve stopped me because of the lights’.
“‘Yes’ we replied ‘and also you don’t have insurance’.
“‘Yes’ was the reply ‘I should tell you I don’t have a licence either’
“We then discovered some cannabis and the drug wipe came back positive.
“We now will wait for the results of the blood test to come back and we will update with the result and the driver will be dealt with for all offences.
“The car was seized to prevent further use.”
