POLICE are searching for the owner of a stolen Rolex watch that was recovered in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police received a report on Tuesday, June 21, from a jewellery store in the town that they had come into possession of the gold Rolex with diamond encrusted bezel, which was believed to be stolen property.

Police Constable Paul Humber, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries, but have so far been unable to trace the owner of this watch.

“The watch has an engraving on the bottom and I would urge anyone who recognises the watch to contact us and give details of the engraving, as well as any serial numbers if possible, so we can confirm you are the owner.”
