The event is expected to attract around 5,000 festival goers, and follows the hugely popular Sandpolo event on Friday and Saturday.

Last year’s Sandfest was due to take place in July but had to be postponed due to coronavirus restrictions, taking place in September instead.

"Not just because they are a proven successful act with four number one hits and 10 top 10 hits on their CV. But the added bonus that we know this group are really popular in the south especially with lots of requests for them it made sense to give our loyal crowd the vibe they want.

"A heartfelt thank you to everyone that gets behind SandFest, we have established such a loyal, local base of 'regulars'.

"They buy the ticket before they even know who is on the bill because they are confident that we will endeavour to deliver on all levels.

"I'm so happy we are back to our original summer July date and can put the last couple of 'complex' shall we say, years behind us.

"In just over one week it will just be back to dancing on the sand with great vibes, awesome tunes and world class Sandbanks views. Bring it on."

Ty added: "There is a very limited amount of tickets remaining so we urge you to grab yours and not wait until the last minute."
