A WOMAN who was threatened with a fine for leaving rubbish outside her house has said people have been “supportive” after footage of the incident circulated online.
Leah Spicer, of Somerford Road, Christchurch, was threatened with a £150 punishment for leaving her bin and a piece of cardboard on the pavement in front of her house.
Ms Spicer said she didn’t know why the bin collectors missed her rubbish, and said she was “made to feel like a criminal”.

The exchange was recorded and shared online by Ms Spicer, who can be heard pleading with the enforcement officer.
She said: “Everybody on the video I put up have been supportive. They totally agree with me around here.
“The fine that I was given was given to me illegally in my opinion.
"I wasn’t littering purposely. I put it there for them to be taken away.
"They said they didn't have to give me a warning for littering. He'd already threatened me with a fine for flytipping. So he was totally wrong because at the start he was going to fine me for flytipping, not littering.
“Just a polite reminder and it would’ve been gone.
“I’m ok now I’m just trying not to let it get to me, but I still think it is so wrong. It’s not right how it has been handled.”
