St Catherine's Hill in Christchurch
A SMALL fire broke out on Christchurch heathland at St Catherine's Hill, this morning.
Emergency services attended the scene of the fire at 10.42am and it has since been extinguished.
A spokesperson from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Christchurch Fire Station attended a small heath fire on St Catherine's Hill, Christchurch.
"The fire was extinguished using two hose reel jets and one high pressure jet. Crews spent some time damping the area down to help prevent reignition"
