A CAR which had a “strong smell of cannabis” coming from it was seized by police in Christchurch.
Officers from Ringwood Police, supporting their colleagues in Christchurch yesterday evening (Thursday, June 16) seized the silver Honda CRV after discovering it had no valid insurance.
A spokesperson for the police said there was a “strong smell of cannabis coming from vehicle with male linked to car walking away after seeing police.”
The silver SUV also had nearside damage and jagged edges as it was found parked up and recently driven.
The car was recovered and seized.
The spokesperson from Ringwood Police said: “If you know someone driving illegally call us on 101 in confidence with details or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 to RatOnARat.
“Your information may be the difference between life and death for another person.”
