AN electric bike worth £3,000 has been stolen from an address in Poole.

At around 2am on Tuesday June 14 entry was gained to a garage at an address off Canford Cliffs Road.

A matte black custom-made electric bike worth £3,000 was stolen. The bike has a battery in the position where a water bottle would sit.

Dorset Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward following the incident.

Police Constable Daniel Goodman said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.

“I would also ask residents in the community to please check their home CCTV systems for anything of relevance in the early hours of Tuesday 14 June.

“Finally, as part of my enquiries I am issuing an image of the stolen bike and would ask anyone who has seen it for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please come forward.”
