POLICE had to deal with a “large” group of youths yesterday at Tower Park retail park after ongoing issues with anti-social behaviour. 

PCSO Kerrie of Poole Police dealt with the “ongoing issue” at the family retail and leisure park as part of Operation Relentless on Saturday, June 11. 

A spokerperson for Poole Police said: “Poole neighbourhood policing team are working with retailers, businesses on the complex and our partner agencies to identify the youths involved so that appropriate action can be taken.” 

Officers from Poole Police have been tackling anti-social behaviour across the area recently.

On Thursday, June 9, police were in Broadstone following ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour around the area, after youths were refused entry to the youth centre.  

A spokesperson for Poole Police said: “Staff have a responsibility to ensure that those who attend the youth centre are safe and able to enjoy their evenings at this establishment. 

“Youths who have been causing issues are being followed up by police and partner agencies to address their behaviour using our consequences scheme and other measures. 

“We will be making regular patrols around these areas and deal with offenders appropriately.

PCSO Sam and Leasha were patrolling Canford Heath the same day in relation to anti-social behaviour. 

One person was found allegedly “extremely intoxicated and allegedly unable to stand” and was assisted home safely with further support and help being offered. 

Alcohol was also seized in relation to the public space protection order near Adastral Square, as the PCSOs believed the occupants were likely to cause and be involved in anti-social behaviour if they continued drinking.
