A man who suffered serious injuries in a bus crash in Poole has died in hospital, police have confirmed.
Emergency services were sent to Turlin Road in Poole yesterday afternoon following reports of a crash between a bus and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a local man in his 40s, was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries.
He died in hospital on Saturday. His family has been informed.

Sergeant Sarah Jones, of the police traffic unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who sadly died at this extremely difficult time for them.
“We owe it to them to establish the full circumstances of what happened and our investigation into this collision remains ongoing.
“I would continue to encourage any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to please contact us.”

The road was closed for a few hours on Friday afternoon to allow investigation work to take place.
The bus was removed around 5.45pm.
