A CINEMA in Poole has reopened to customers following an issue with a burst water pipe.

Cineworld at the Tower Park leisure complex closed on Thursday but opened its doors again to cinema-goers on Friday.

Posting on social media this morning, a spokesperson said: “Unfortunately the cinema will not be able to open this morning due to a burst water pipe.

“We are doing our best to get the doors back open as soon as possible and hope that this should be possible later today.

“We will provide an update as soon as possible.”

However, in a later update, Cineworld said it had reopened.

Giving an update, the cinema chain said: "We hope you'll join us for Jurassic World, Top Gun or something else on the big screen today - we missed you all."

Yesterday, customers were told the cinema was closed due to “building repairs”.

Anyone who had tickets pre-booked was told Cineworld's customer service team would be in contact.
