Police are appealing for information about a van with a broken number plate after a hit and run crash in Bournemouth.
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a the fail-to-stop collision on Friday.
The incident took place around 1pm on June 3, and involved a black Vauxhall Grandland and a small white van on Whitelegg Way, near to the junction with Wimborne Road.
It is reported that the driver of the van initially stopped, but subsequently drove off from the scene without leaving his details.
The van had a broken number plate as a result of the collision.
Police Constable Phillip Pearson, of Bournemouth police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened, or captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage, to please come forward.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who has seen a small white van locally since Friday 3 June 2022 with a damaged number plate.”
