POLICE arrested a man at Poole bus station after allegedly finding him in possession of class A drugs.
Poole’s neighbourhood inspector Danny Tamblyn was on foot patrol in Poole on Tuesday and authorised a dispersal notice to prevent any further antisocial behaviour.
The man was subsequently de-arrested and enquiries are continuing.
A Poole Police spokesperson said: “Officers from Poole's NPT have just arrested an adult male in Poole bus station on suspicion of possession of a class A drug.
“Having the inspector on hand meant police were able to get a section 35 dispersal notice authorised there and then to prevent wider antisocial behaviour.
“The team from Poole's NPT are out on targeted patrols in Poole town centre today as part of Operation Servo.”
Also as part of Operation Servo, a missing child was located and returned home.
