BUSINESSES impacted by the ongoing roadworks in Ringwood are to be offered support.

Businesses cut-off by the roadworks taking place on the A31 at Ringwood are invited to attend a business support day in the town.

The event, run by The Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and Ringwood Business Association, will provide expert business advice and support to those who have been affected.

Business experts and representative organisations will be on hand to discuss topics including general business advice, strategic support, digital skills and legal advice advice.

The support day will be held at the Greyfriars Community Centre from 9.45am to 5pm on Friday June 10.

Paula Swain, Solent LEP business director and SME business ambassador, said: “Businesses are welcome to drop-in to the event at Greyfriars Community Centre in the town centre at any time throughout the day.

“There will be free expert advice available to cover all the issues a local business may be facing because of shoppers being unable to access them as a result of the A31 roadworks.

“Those attending will have the opportunity to hear from business support providers about their offers, and to engage with them on a one-to-one basis about specific challenges.”
