A stately cruise ship has sailed into Portland Harbour.
Cunard ship Queen Victoria arrived in local waters yesterday morning from Belfast.
Victoria, a firm favourite among lovers of cruising, has the capacity for 2,061 guests, is 964.5ft long and has a gross tonnage of 90,049.
She was built in 2007 and is currently sailing under the flag of Bermuda.
Cunard says Victoria has 'unique atmosphere and warmth encouraging a sense of escapism'. Her sun deck has recently been expanded and she has a newly enhanced Chart Room and Winter Garden.
The ship was last in Weymouth Bay in 2020 when it was anchored off the Dorset coast alongside fellow Cunard liners Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth.
This unique event was a result of the coronavirus pandemic when all sailings were suspended.
