FIVE beach huts on a popular Poole beach had their windows and doors smashed.
Police investigating the incident have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
Between 8pm and 8.40pm on Friday, May 20, damage was caused to five beach huts near to the promenade at Shore Road.
It is reported that the windows and doors of the huts were smashed.
Police Constable Susannah Justice, of Dorset Police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and understand there may have been a number of people in the area at the time.
“I would urge anyone who witnessed what happened to please get in touch.
“Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team can be approached by members of the public while on patrol with any information or concerns.”
