DORSET Police have thanked members of the public for their response after chickens were left abandoned in Poole.
Whilst on patrol on Wednesday evening, PCSO Sam and Leasha were alerted to two chickens in poor health after being abandoned.
The chickens were captured and taken to the vets.
In a Facebook post by Poole Police, members of the public were thanked for their help. They said: “We would like to thank the members of public in Oakdale that helped us prevent them running into the road.”
