COMMUNITY groups are being asked to register their details with the council in a bid to understand residents' thoughts on the delivery of its services, planning and development.

Groups from residents' associations to special interest groups based in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are encouraged to sign up to the list by BCP Council.

The list will be used to provide updates on funding opportunities, consultations and will offer these groups the chance to stay engaged with the latest council activities or other news which may be of interest to them.

Councillor Jane Kelly, lead member for communities, said: “Engaging with our local community groups is a key priority for BCP Council and this is a chance for them to stay updated on exciting opportunities which they can get involved in.

“It is crucial that we grow our networks in order to reach out to our communities and ensure that they have access to the latest information and their voices are heard.

“We want to continue to give everyone across the conurbation a chance to inform council decisions and shape services in their local area.”
