A WOMAN was taken to hospital in Bournemouth after a medical emergency.

The air ambulance landed in Kings Park in Boscombe on Tuesday morning.

Police were called to reports of a woman needing medical attention in Christchurch Road.

Officers attended the scene to assist the ambulance service.

They also assisted in helping the air ambulance land at Kings Park.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police received a report at 11.04am on Tuesday 24 May 2022 relating to a woman in need of medical attention in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth.

“Officers attended to assist the ambulance service and also assisted with facilitating the landing of an air ambulance at Kings Park."

Officers left the scene at around 12.30pm.

The spokesperson added: "We do not have an update on her condition at this time.”

It is understood the woman was taken to hospital by land ambulance.
