Westbourne Rotary are bringing the Westbourne community together for an afternoon tea style street party to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Westbourne Rotary have arranged for a street closure for Landseer Road in Westbourne for Sunday June 5, in order to hold a traditional street party with a free afternoon tea for Westbourne residents.

Lynne Abad, member of Westbourne Rotary Club said: "There will be live entertainment and a free picnic afternoon tea given to all attending.

"We are hoping to welcome 350 guests throughout the afternoon.

"This is a great opportunity for the locals of Westbourne to meet and celebrate this great occasion together."

We reached out to all the local charitys and organisations and they have all said its fanastic to have been invited to an event like this. We are trying to reach out the people that do good for everyone else so it is a thank you day more than anything else."
