ENQUIRIES remain ongoing into the attempted kidnapping of a two-year-old girl at a beauty spot in Ringwood last week.

Hampshire Police say there is “no further update at this time” regarding the incident on Wednesday, May 11, in which two unidentified men attempted to take the child while she was walking with her mother and dog in The Mount.

Just under a week later and no arrests have been made, while investigators continue to urge anyone with information to come forward.

A police spokesperson said: “[Our] enquiries remain ongoing. Local officers continue to conduct high visibility patrols in the area.”
