A POOLE man has been banned from driving for travelling at 30mph above the speed limit in Bicester.
Jon Ashley Wood, 50, of Bournemouth Road was proved via single justice procedure to have travelled at 70mph on the A41 when the speed limit was 40mph.
He appeared at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, May 4 when he was sentenced.
Court papers stated the 50-year-old was driving an Audi A5 on the A41 on January 15, 2021, at a speed of 70mph, exceeding the legal limit of 40mph.
Magistrates fined him £120 for the offence and ordered him to pay a victim surcharge of £34.
He was also ordered to pay costs of £90 and was disqualified from driving for 56 days.
