The headline act for this year's Bournemouth 7s weekend has been announced.

Chase & Status have been named as the headline artists for this year's 'sporting Glastonbury'.

Organisers of the world’s largest sport and music festival said the multi-platinum selling group will bring an eclectic mix of electronic music and drum and bass to the festival, which takes place over the  Queen’s Jubilee Weekend.

Last month, Chase and Status returned to the limelight unveiling their hard-hitting and trailblazing singles “Mixed Emotions”, and "Don't Be Scared" ft. Takura, while announcing their sixth studio album, What Came Before, out Friday June 10.
