A MAN stopped by police for erratic driving gave the details of his brother only to come unstuck when the tattoos didn’t match.
Officers from the Dorset Police No Excuse team stopped the driver in Redhill, Bournemouth, and found he was wanted for failing to appear at court for drink driving.
A spokesperson for the No Excuse team said: “When stopped the driver gave details of his brother, unfortunately the tattoos didn’t match when we checked our database.
“With nowhere to go, he owned up on who he was. Checks established he was wanted two counts of failing to appear at court for drink driving.
“The driver will be spending the night in custody and will appear at court tomorrow where he will be disqualified from driving for a long period.
“The vehicle was seized due to no insurance.”
