The victim screamed and made attempts to get out of the vehicle, which was locked.

The man eventually stopped, and the victim got out of the car.

As the victim attempted to turn her phone on, it is reported that the man reversed his car into her, causing her to fall backwards and hit her head on the ground.

Another man stopped at the scene and helped the victim to her feet. He administered first aid before driving her home to safety.

The incident happened on Thursday, March 24, and was reported to Dorset Police on Thursday, May 5.

Police Constable Elliot Penn, of North Bournemouth police, said: “While I appreciate this incident occurred some months ago and the exact location and time is not known, I believe there is a strong chance the man who came to the victim’s aid that morning may remember what happened and I would ask him to please get in touch with Dorset Police so we can take an account from him.

“I would also urge anyone else who witnessed what happened, or captured anything on dashcam or home CCTV, to please get in touch.”
