Concerns raised about the manner of driving of a Ferrari in Weymouth town centre prompted police to act.
The yellow luxury sports car was stopped on Westwey Road yesterday and the driver was issued with a warning.
A spokesman for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Officers stopped this vehicle following complaints from members of public, regarding the manner of its driving in Weymouth town centre.
"The driver was issued with a Section 59 Notice and a Traffic Offence Report.
"Under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002, if a driver is found to be driving in a manner that causes or is likely to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public, police may issue a warning.
"If the driver repeats the offence within 12 months, the vehicle will be seized and removed."
