The sun shone down on this part of Dorset throughout most of Saturday, with local weather enthusiast, Bournemouth and Poole Weather saying the town was the warmest place in the UK.

Itβs a beautiful start, long sunny spells all day and strong sunshine lifting temps again up to 21C and with just a light breeze itβll feel extremely pleasant βοΈππ» @portlandukwx @DorsetSnow @Bournemouthecho

The week ahead looks set to be cloudy with some sunny spells, with sunshine expected to make a return again next weekend - hopefully.
The Met Office say Monday will be dry and warm with spells of hazy sunshine for much of England and Wales.
From Tuesday there will be patchy rain affecting the southeast, with sunny spells and showers elsewhere.
We'll be saying goodbye to high pressure for a few days this week. However, it's forecast to be back again in southern areas by next weekend
