THE BOMB disposal unit (EOD) were called to deal with an 'unknown metal object' at Knoll Beach on Tuesday night, say police.
At 2.53pm on Tuesday May 3, Dorset Police received a report of an unknown metal object having been found at Knoll Beach in Studland.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "The EOD is attending to deal with the object."
This comes as a resident reported seeing a bomb disposal vehicle with blue lights and sirens heading down Poole Road, towards Poole.
