SIX dogs and Guinea pigs are looking for their forever homes in Dorset.

Animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find permanent homes for these animals in its care.

Can you help? all the details are below.

Bournemouth Echo:

Duke is a 3-year-old, ex-racing Greyhound. He is an excitable boy who loves being out and about and is always ready for the next adventure. He adores his toys, especially the squeaky ones and he could play with them for hours! He is looking for an adult-only home without any small furries, but he could potentially live with another Sighthound, as long as they meet first.

Bournemouth Echo:

Stanley is a 13-year-old British Bulldog who is looking for his retirement home. He is a very sweet boy who is partially blind and deaf. However, he doesn’t let that bother him and he still enjoys going for short strolls. He is currently on eye drops for dry eye and cherry eye, so his new family will need to carry on this treatment and it will likely be lifelong. He has recently had a dental procedure at the vets and will need another in a few weeks. Therefore, he will need a family that live close by to the centre, who can take him to his appointment. He could live with a calm dog, older children and possibly cats.

Bournemouth Echo:

Bruce is a one-year-old, medium crossbreed. He has lots of energy, so his new home will need to be physically active and be able to keep him mentally occupied. He would benefit from training classes as he is still very much a big puppy. He gets quite anxious on his own, so he cannot be left for very long at the moment and his new owners will need to help him with this. He is a friendly, playful boy so he would be happy to live with a female dog and older children, but not cats.

Bournemouth Echo:

Buzz is under a year old and he’s a very chatty boy who loves to greet people, especially in the mornings before he’s been given his breakfast! He does have quite long hair so he would need his new owners to give him regular trims, but he is very good whilst having this done.

Bournemouth Echo:

Sully is 7 months old and he is a very chatty boy. Although he may still be quite small, he certainly makes up for this in personality! His coat is quite long so his new owners will need to give him regular trims, but he is a very good boy when having this done.

Bournemouth Echo:

Carl is under a year old and he is a very active boy who loves to investigate and explore, especially if there’s something new in his pen. He enjoys greeting people here at Church Knowle and he doesn’t mind having a snuggle from time-to-time.

Buzz, Sully and Carl are looking for forever homes where they will be with one or more females. They will also need single-level homes but they can use a cat flap, so a converted shed would be a possibility.
