A SPECIAL Jubilee picnic celebration is set to take place in a Dorset country park’s garden in June.
Upton Country Park in Poole will host a community picnic celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Thursday, June 2, in the beautiful Walled Garden.
Visitors can bring their own picnic or purchase one from the Tea Rooms to enjoy while listening to live music from Swing Unlimited’s Community Big Band, who will play 45-minute sets at 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm.
The grounds will be open from 11am to 4pm.

A four-day UK bank holiday weekend will be held to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee from Thursday, June 2, to Sunday, June 5.
The four days of celebrations will include public events and community activities, as well as national moments of reflection on The Queen’s 70 years of service.
