A TESCO store in a Dorset village is closed for refurbishment work.
Contractors have fenced off the Tesco Express in Lymington Road, Highcliffe, with work ongoing inside the shop.
An exact reopening date has not been confirmed by the supermarket giant but it is hoped the store will only be closed for a matter of weeks.
A spokesperson for Tesco said: “Our Highcliffe Express is currently closed whilst we undertake a refresh of the store to provide a better shopping experience to our customers.
"We apologise for the temporary inconvenience whilst we carry out the work and look forward to welcoming customers back to the improved store in mid-May.”
