A WOMAN has received points on her licence and a hefty court bill after being convicted of a motoring offence on the A35 in Poole.

Chloe Bartlett, aged 24, was alleged to have driven a Citroen car on the A35 near Safety Drive on August 20, 2021, without due care and attention.

The case was dealt with at Weymouth Magistrates' Court, with the offence proved in her absence at a hearing on April 19.

Magistrates handed her a £440 fine along with a requirement to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £110 costs.

Bartlett, whose address was given as Methuen Close, Bournemouth, had her driving record endorsed with five points.

The court issued a collection order for the financial penalties.
