A small gesture made a big difference to Dorset paramedics this week.

Sweets and a kind note were left on the windscreen of an ambulance in Weymouth in Dorset for the crew.

The note said: "Thank you for everything. Enjoy your sweets".

The paramedic on duty, Carolina Pequeno, tweeted to say thanks.

"Came out from an incident to find this #Randomactofkindness

"To the little people who left this. You don't know how much of a difference you've made to this crew today. Thank you."

And a spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said: "The smallest gesture can really make a massive impact.

"Like this really thoughtful message and bag of sweets left for paramedics on their ambulance while they were attending a call.

"Thank you to whoever left these. It really made their day!"
