A WOMAN was bitten on the arm and a man hit in the face in Bournemouth town centre.

The victim and her boyfriend, both aged in their 20s, were attacked in Holdenhurst Road at around 4.40pm on Friday, March 11.

The woman was driving along the road in a silver Fiant Punto when she turned left into an access road that leads to Bournemouth railway station.

She was forced to stop the car due to a man and woman standing in the middle of the road. The driver beeped her horn in an attempt to ask them to move.

It is reported the man approached the victim’s car, leaned into the driver’s side, grabbed her glasses and threw them onto the road.

After getting out of the car, the victim was bitten on her right arm by the woman with the victim’s boyfriend struck in the face by the man.

Police have now released CCTV images of two people they are keen to identify.

Police Constable Mohi Uddin, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my enquiries into this incident I am in a position to issue CCTV images of the two suspects, and I would urge anyone who recognises them to please contact Dorset Police.

“There were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident and I would ask anyone who saw what happened and has not yet spoken to police, to please come forward.”
