THE inquest into the death of a woman with “a passion for life and family” will not be resumed following the conclusion of the criminal proceedings.
Susan Diane Stanford, 69, died on September 26, 2020, days after being hit by a car in the car park of Asda in West Quay Road, Poole.
Following the conclusion of the criminal proceedings, senior coroner for Dorset, Rachael Griffin, concluded the inquest at a short hearing at Bournemouth Town Hall on Wednesday, April 20.
“I formally conclude this inquest by not resuming the inquest,” Ms Griffin said.
As reported, Ms Stanfords’ family, paying tribute following the sentencing of Andres, said: “"Sue sadly was taken from us to a heavenly place on September 26, 2020.
"Sue leaves behind a devoted husband Dave and two wonderful daughters, Jadine and Kirsty, that she deeply loved and adored.
“They will continue her legacy, smile, and make sure Sue is never forgotten.
"Sue is missed and loved every day by all who knew her. Sue touched everyone with her love, friendship, and passion for life and family. RIP."
