AN elderly woman’s car has been deliberately damaged for the fifth time in around three months as CCTV images are released for the latest incident.

At around 9.50pm on Wednesday March 9, the driver’s side wing mirror of a Nissan Micra parked in Evering Avenue, Poole, was deliberately damaged. It is reported a male was seen to cover his face before approaching the vehicle and causing the damage.

Officers investigating the repeated criminal damage reports in Poole have issued a CCTV image of an individual they wish to identify.

Police Constable Rebecca Grabauskas, of Poole Police, said: “This is the fifth time the elderly victim has discovered damage to her vehicle since Christmas and she cannot think of a reason why her vehicle is being targeted in this way.

“As part of my enquires I am now in position to issue a CCTV image of the suspect. While I appreciate his face is covered and the image is not overly clear, it is the best I currently have and I am issuing it in the hope that someone might recognise him from the clothing he is wearing.

“I would urge anyone who knows who this man is to please contact Dorset Police.”
