ON April 1, the government issued full details of who is entitled to the £150 tax rebate to help with increased costs.

Their advice was that if a person paid their council tax by direct debit on the first of the month, then the rebate should be issued as soon as possible in April.

I have tried to find out when BCP are going to issue the rebates and it is impossible to get any information from the council. The recorded message you get says they cannot help because they have no information available.

I have emailed my Moordown councillor Sarah Anderson to try to find out when the rebate will be paid, but she has not acknowledged receipt of my email.

I would love to know what plans BCP have organised to arrange payment and when this is likely to happen.
