HUNDREDS of households in Bournemouth and Christchurch are without electricity this evening due to a power cut.
Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) is aware of an issue affecting a raft post code areas on Thursday, April 14.
The utitilty company's online Power Track said that the unplanned outage was reported at 8.11pm.
It lists that properties in the following 17 post codes are affected: BH23 2JY, BH23 2NH, BH23 6AE, BH23 6AG, BH23 6AQ, BH23 6BQ, BH8 0DF, BH8 0DG, BH8 0DH, BH8 0DJ, BH8 0DL, BH8 0DN, BH8 0DQ, BH8 0DW, BH8 0EE, BH8 0EF, BH8 0EG.
As of 8.50pm, the incident had been logged by SSEN and an engineer was on site attempting to fix the problem. The firm said it was currently aiming to have powered restored by 11.30pm.
