A MAN who stole from a Next store nine times in the space 12 weeks has been sentenced by the courts.
Gavin Daniel King Drake shoplifted a total of £701 of goods from the Castlepoint shop, including jeans, ornaments and other clothing.
The offences took place between April 14 and July 3 last year.
Drake, 45, appeared in the dock for sentencing at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 12, having pleaded guilty to seven counts of theft last month.
District Judge Stephen Nicholls issued the defendant, whose address was given as Leydene, Avenue, Bournemouth, with a 12-month community order.
This included a requirement to take part in up to 30 days of rehabilitation activity requirement.
Drake was ordered to pay £636 compensation to Next.
