DORSET Police have seized over 100 cigarettes and vapes as part of a crackdown in Boscombe.
Boscombe NPT have been taking part in a multi-agency operation targeting the illegal sale of counterfeit cigarettes and trading standard breaches.
Over a hundred regular cigarettes and E cigarettes have been seized from shops in the Boscombe area for breaching standards, including not having the correct warning signage and quantities of nicotine excess in the vapes.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "We have also been acting on reports of people supplying children.
"Working alongside BCP Council allows us to create a disruption in the network and stop the selling of these illegal products that are damaging people’s health and stops the funding of crime in our communities.
"Boscombe Police will continue to act on intelligence and reports sent to us."
