THIS image resembles a wanted man who has been linked to a burglary in New Milton.

Police released this e-fit after a man allegedly forced his way into a property on Christchurch Road at 2pm on Tuesday (March 15).

The property, close to the junction with Barton Lane, was entered via the rear door and was unoccupied at the time.

An “untidy search” was completed with a range of electrical items and jewellery stolen in the process.

Neighbours witnessed a man flee the scene on a black bicycle carrying two ‘Bag For Life’ supermarket bags and headed towards Fawcett Fields.

He is described as being white, aged 30-35 years old, approximately 5ft 8ins tall, skinny build and short brown hair and grey beard.

The man was seen wearing a dark bomber jacket, grey trousers and carrying a black rucksack over his shoulder at the time of the incident.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Do you know who this man is? Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you have CCTV or dash-cam footage available?

“Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to contact us on 101 and quoting crime reference 44220103997.”
