A DINGHY capsized off Poole prompting “numerous calls” to the coastguard.
Poole Lifeboat launched at 10am on Monday, April 11, to reports a small dinghy had capsized off Hamworthy Park.
The vessel had two people on-board wearing wet suits and buoyancy aid who were struggling in the conditions to re-right.
An RLI spokesperson said: “When the lifeboat arrived on scene, they found that the dinghy had been recovered and was on the shore, a crew member went ashore to assist and assess.
“Both casualties were okay and happy to retrieve their launching trolley from Poole Yacht Club the crew helped load the dinghy on to their trolley and the casualties made their way back to the yacht club.”
The lifeboat returned to station and was made ready for service by 11.15am.
