POLICE were called to a report that a man assaulted a woman while she was sitting in her car.
Officers carried out inquiries into the incident in Medway Road, Ferndown, on Friday, April 8, which was reported to Dorset Police by a witness.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said: “Dorset Police received a report at 6.38pm on Friday, April 8, that a member of the public had witnessed an assault in Medway Road in Ferndown.
“The incident was reported to have occurred at around 6pm.
“It is reported that a man assaulted a woman while she was sitting in her car.
“Officers carried out initial enquiries, but the man and woman have not been identified and no report has been made by the woman.”
