MOTORISTS experienced long delays on the A31 in Dorset on Saturday following a crash.
A single-vehicle collision took place on the main road near Corfe Mullen and Wimborne Minster.
There were reports of delays in both directions, with police officers at the scene.
Traffic heading westbound was heavy through the Merley Roundabout and back towards Canford Bottom Roundabout.
The A31 eastbound was slow back past the Lake Gates Roundabout.
A Dorset Police spokeswoman said the force received a report of a single-vehicle collision on the A31 at 11.49am.
The spokeswoman said officers in attendance reported that no injuries were sustained and the vehicle involved was recovered.
Police left the scene shortly before 1pm.
