THE Watch Shop in Bournemouth Town Centre has closed its doors for the final time after the death of its founder.
The owner David recently died after an “extremely short illness” and has not been trading for the last month.
On Thursday, April 7, David’s wife Suzanne Wills closed the shop for good.
On a sign hanging up outside, Suzanne wrote: “I would like to thank all of our wonderful customers over the past 37 years of trading on Commercial Rd.

“We have laughed together, we have cried together and we have put the world to right many, many times.
“It has been an honour to serve you, your children and even your grandchildren.
“THANK YOU for your custom and friendship over the years, we have loved every day opening our shop to you.
The letter signed off with: “Wishing you all a wonderful future and Keep on Time! Don’t be late!”
