POLICE carried out a search after receiving reports that a boy was threatened at Boscombe bus station by a group with a knife.

Dorset Police received a third-party report at 5.40pm on Thursday April 7 from a member of the public that a young person had been threatened by a group of boys at Boscombe bus station in Ashley Road, Bournemouth.

It is reported that one of the group was in possession of a knife.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and carried out a search of the area. A group of boys were searched, however no knife was located.

“No report has been received from the young person at this time.”
