DRIVERS are facing 45-minute delays on the A31 near Ringwood as one lane is blocked.
One lane is blocked on the westbound carriageway between Stoney Cross and Picket Post.
A Mercedes has broken down and is awaiting recovery.
“Heavy” delays of around 45 minutes are being reported by Romanse.
Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called out at 10.57am following reports of a broken down vehicle on the A31 between the M27 and A338.
"A black Mercedes had broken down, causing minor disruption.
"The vehicle is now in the process of being recovered."
