COASTGUARD teams were tasked to help a person who had become separated from their watercraft near Baiter slipway and had swum a long distance ashore.
Poole Coastguard Rescue Team were called to Baiter slipway on April 5, 2022.
A spokesperson said: “On arrival the team gave appropriate casualty care and then liaised with Poole Harbour Commissioners for the recovery of the watercraft, as it had become a danger to navigation and shipping.
“A plan of action was put into place and all relevant parties given the information for its safe recovery and collection.
“After passing on safety and medical advice to the individual, the team stood down with thanks and returned to the station.”
