A man has been found dead at a property in Boscombe.

Police were called to the address in Argyll Road at 12.54pm on Thursday after a report raising concern for the welfare of a man.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Officers attended the address, along with the ambulance service, and very sadly a man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious.

"Enquiries are ongoing to confirm the man’s identity and inform his next of kin."

The incident is not related to a stabbing which took place in the same road earlier on Thursday.
