IMAGES have been released of an electric bike stolen from a Bournemouth street and a man police would like to speak with in connection.

According to police, the victim left their bike secure to a railing in Lorne Park Road at around 1.50pm on Tuesday March 15 and returned at around 2.30pm to find it had been stolen.

The bike is described as an aquatic blue Specialized Levo HT 1st generation with red on the hubs of the tyres and where the battery is attached. It also has a black drinks holder on the frame.

Officers investigating the theft have issued images of the stolen bicycle and a man they would like to speak to.

Police community support investigator Chris Wilson, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this theft and have obtained CCTV images of the suspect.

“I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact us.

“We are also issuing images of the electric bike that was stolen and I would urge anyone who comes across a bike of this description being offered for sale locally or online in unusual circumstances to please get in touch.”
